A New Site

This is the first of (hopefully) many posts in which I give some brief updates and insights in to what’s new with my life.

First and foremost, I’m writing this as I continue to build this website, which is new!

My plans, as mentioned on the homepage, are for this to be part-portfolio, part-blog.

The thing I’m excited about most right now is my new band, ‘Aztec West’. What started as a conceptual joke a few years ago between me and my friend (now band-mate) has become a real thing, with our first rehearsals with our drummer and bassist starting this week.

We have our first show lined up in late August, in which we’ll be covering some songs that we all love, mainly alternative & grunge numbers. If all goes well, we’re planning on writing some originals and lining up some more shows through Autumn to keep the momentum going.
